lyrics

Self Pity Jackass

I want to run and hide somewhere in a corner of your art
I was never afraid, never ashamed of failing when I gave it all
Still it's not easy to be easy when pride eats up the walls
When you're not as strong, not as tough as you wished and your breath tastes of bitterness

Beauty of today blow me away
Through the eyes of a child
Through the taste of the wild
I'm a self pity jackass having the time of his life

I want to seek and find comfort in the arcade of a labyrinth
Where it's not about a business plan but the dinner we prepare for tonight
I've always been fond of the people who don't pretend to know where they're going
I rather be a better dreamer than a patient pretender:
«Réver, c'est le bonheur; Attendre, c'est la vie»

Beauty of today blow me away
Through the eyes of a child
Through the taste of the wild
I'm a self pity jackass having the time of his life
